INTERN SPOTLIGHT: MARGARET ANN STUBBLEFIELD
Tell us a little about yourself. (Name, school, program you’re studying, where you’re from.)
My name is Margaret Ann Stubblefield and I am from Burlington, North Carolina, so not far down the road. I graduated from East Carolina University, with a B.S. in Communications. After college, I was employed with Buckner Companies and most recently with Cynthia Huffines & Associates Interior Design. Currently, I am in my final semester of the Interior Design program at Randolph Community College.
What made you interested in interior design/graphic design?
It has been a passion and the “great love” was developed at an early age. I can’t remember a time in my life when I haven’t loved furnishings and reconfiguring rooms.
Who are some of your design icons?
Meg Braff, Alexa Hampton, & Janie Molster.
Describe your design aesthetic.
My style is sophisticated and transitional with the use of layering, color, texture, and patterns.
What do you do at Vivid Interiors?
Interior Design Intern
What do you like best about interning at Vivid?
The inviting environment and exposure for creativity and learning.
Who are your favorite musicians?
Dave Matthews Band is a favorite, but I listen to an array of artists.
