CR Laine

CR Laine

We are thrilled to announce that we are an official CR Laine Retailer! We have used CR Laine in several client projects and love the quality craftsmanship, the beautiful and large assortment of fabrics and the endless customizable options that are available. CR Laine is made locally in Hickory North Carolina. We took a tour of the factory last week, where we learned all about the company and their philosophy. The wood for the frames and legs of their pieces are harvested from the North Carolina Appalachian mountains, the construction is 8 way hand tied, and the fabric is hand-cut and hand-tailored.

CR Laine practices sustainability by resourcing locally, reducing waste and energy conservation. In 2011, they retrofitted their lighting system which ultimately reduced their energy consumption by half. In addition, they track their use of wood, foam, fabric, water, paper, batteries and aluminum to minimize waste and to maximize our recycling. They are members of the American Home Furnishings Alliance and were the first company to achieve registration in their Sustainable by Design program. They have held SBD status since 2008.

Their showroom at High Point Furniture Market is alway one of our favorites to visit because of their unabashed love for color. Here are some pictures of some of our favorite pieces and fabrics as well as a couple of shots of their showroom over the course of a couple of years.
